How it works.

  1. Pick a card. Set the timer for fifteen minutes.
  2. One of you answers. The other says only: Thank you, Clarify that, or Summarise that.
  3. Thank you means swap. Same card, back and forth, until the timer goes.

Questions

Do we have to agree about what happened?

No. You each get to be understood. Agreeing can come later, or not at all.

What if it gets heated?

Reach Thank you, stop the timer, and leave it until tomorrow. Stopping cleanly is part of it.

When should we use them?
