At a women’s retreat, Juliette felt called to come over to me. She placed her hands and energy over my heart and womb space, and within less than 10 seconds, I was pulled out of my conscious mind and dropped deep into the subconscious part of my body. Before I knew it, I was on the ground, fully supported—and I began to release. For about 20 minutes, I let go of 20 years' worth of pent-up pain, trauma, and repression, all tied to sexual trauma from my younger years. It was the most beautiful, unexpected experience of my life. I’ve never wailed, cried, or screamed like that before. I’ve never released so profoundly, nor felt such an intense shift. Throughout this release, I was held in the most beautiful safety. I was surrounded by sisterhood, supported by loving, motherly energy. Juliette guided me through somatic energy release, and when she placed her hand on my heart and another on my womb space again, I felt completely discharged. The charge that I had carried with me since my late teens was gone. It was so powerful that it’s hard to find the words to describe it. I feel lighter—my heart feels lighter, my body feels lighter—and there’s a newfound confidence within me that I don’t think I’ve ever accessed before.
